TIPS® / ATAP Alcohol Awareness Certification

TIPS certification is mandatory in many states and required by most establishments throughout the United States. TIPS is nationally recognized, whereas ATAP which is not mandatory, covers New York only. However, being TIPS certified means you also fall under the ATAP certified. In other words you do not need to both; TIPS will suffice. However, etips (online) is not recognized in many states. The state & insurance companies are requesting that you are TIPS certified ‘on-premise’ by a certified TIPS trainer.

The TIPS course is included in the bartending certification program for all new registrations April-July 2019, courtesy of our hospitality affiliates.
