You're serious about bartending and you need a school that is serious about it's training. At the New York Bartending School we teach all aspects of bartending; not just drink recipes. The course is totally hands-on and is taught by experienced professional bartenders that are state licensed. All instructors have at least 7 years of bartending experience (most have over 10 years) along with some management experience before we hire them. Several of our instructors, including the owner, are former bar owners.

Beer Knowledge & Service: From fermentation to lagers and ales, this seminar covers everything you need to know about beers. Learn from the only New York Bartending School that has a real beer/keg tap system-from how to tap a keg to pouring a pint of Guinness.
Alcohol Awareness Certification Program: The Goal of the Alcohol Awareness Program is to establish acceptable standards of practice for serving alcoholic beverages. It covers topics such as: intervention strategies for handling difficult situations, third-party liquor liability laws, and how to avoid lawsuits. This certification is required by law in some states, but is an added bonus for our students and is included as part of the tuition costs.
Point-of-sale (POS) Register Training: We're also one of the few bartending schools with POS registers, so you'll the art of mixing drinks and customer service simultaneously.
